What Oly is

Oly (olyclass.com) turns a lesson into a game the whole class plays on one screen. A teacher snaps a textbook page, pastes a word list or types a topic; Oly uses AI to write a question set; the class plays in teams on a projector, TV or touch display, and the teacher’s phone can be the remote.

Your account

• You need a Google account to sign in. You must be an adult (18 or older, or the age of majority where you live) and use Oly as a teacher, tutor or parent.
• Keep your Google account secure. You are responsible for what happens in your Oly account.
• You can delete your account at any time from the account menu.

Using Oly fairly

Please don’t:

• use Oly for anything illegal, hateful, violent, sexual or otherwise unsuitable for a classroom;
• upload content you have no right to use, or personal data about students beyond first names or nicknames;
• try to get around plan limits, overload the service, scrape it, or break its security;
• resell Oly or its AI features without our written permission.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why when we can.

Your content

• You own the question sets, pictures and sounds you make or add. You give us permission to store, process and show them only to run Oly for you.
• Only snap, paste or import content you have the right to use, including when you import a Kahoot or copy rows from another app. Using a few words from a textbook for your own class is usually fine; copying whole works to share is not.
• Games in the Oly library are ours. You may play, copy and edit them for your own teaching.

AI can make mistakes

Oly’s questions, answers, translations and pictures are written with AI and may contain mistakes. Check a game before you play it with your class. You can edit everything.

Plans and limits

• Free ($0): 10 AI question sets a month (3 of them from photos), 15 saved games, 100 MB of space, up to 4 teams.
• Oly Pro ($36 a year or $4.99 a month; prices may be adjusted for your country and shown before you pay, with tax added at checkout): 300 AI question sets a month (100 of them from photos), 500 saved games, 1 GB of space, up to 8 teams.
• AI allowances reset on the 1st of each month (UTC) and do not roll over.
• We may change plans and limits. Price changes for an existing subscription apply from your next renewal, and we will tell you before then.

Subscriptions and payment

• Oly Pro is sold by Polar, our merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, handles tax and sends your receipts, under its own terms.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time in Manage subscription (the billing portal on your Account page).
• When you cancel, Oly Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. See the Refund Policy for refunds.

Availability and warranty

We work hard to keep Oly running, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. Oly may sometimes be down, slow or changed. Keep your own copy of anything you can’t lose.

Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim about Oly is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell signed-in teachers before they take effect. If you keep using Oly after that, the new terms apply. You can stop using Oly and delete your account at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If we can’t settle a dispute by talking, it goes to the competent courts of Vietnam, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to use your own courts.
