About this level
Pre-A1 is the very first level: children recognise words they hear, name pictures and read short words. These worksheets use big pictures, one word per line and very short sentences, so they work for kindergarten and grade 1, and for older beginners too.
Other grades: Grades 2 and 3, Grades 4 and 5, Grades 6 and 7. Teaching reading? See the phonics worksheets.
