Virtual dice for the classroom

Roll one to six big, bouncy dice on the class screen. Students read the dots or the total from the back row, so the dice are ready for board games, maths warm-ups and choosing who goes next.

How to use it

  1. Choose how many dice to roll, from 1 to 6.
  2. Press Roll (or the space bar). The dice tumble and land with their total underneath.
  3. Press Roll again for the next turn. The last rolls stay listed, so nobody forgets.

Ways to use it in class

  • Maths warm-ups: roll two dice and add, take away or multiply the numbers.
  • Board games and team games on the big screen, with no dice to lose.
  • Choose a question: number your questions 1 to 6 and roll.
  • Speaking games: roll to decide how many sentences each student says.

Questions teachers ask

Are the dice fair?

Yes. Every face has the same chance, picked by the browser’s random numbers.

How many dice can I roll?

From one to six at a time, with the total shown under them.

Is there a sound?

Yes, a short rattle as the dice roll. Mute it in Oly’s sound settings if you prefer.

Does it work on an interactive whiteboard?

Yes. The dice are big and the Roll button is easy to tap.

Now play a game with your class

Oly turns any lesson into a team game on the same screen, with your phone as the remote. Free to start.
